Hilary Duff ( Hilary Ann Duff ) was born on September 28, 1987 at Houston, Texas, USA. She is both an actress and a musician by profession. This 5'4" girl is popularly known as the Lizzie McGuire girl after the Disney Channel's Kids show "Lizzie McGuire". Her career started with her appearance in women's Western True Women in 1997, and in "Casper"in 1998. She played her best part in 1999's "The Soul Collector". As for her music career, it started with her debut album "Santa Claus Lane" which also became a soundtrack for the movie "The Santa Clause II", and ultimately for her Lizzie McGuire Movie too.
After gaining fame for playing the title role in the television show Lizzie McGuire, Duff went on to have a film career; her most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004). She reportedly earned $15 million in 2005.[1] Duff has expanded her repertoire into pop music, with three RIAA certified-platinum albums and over thirteen million albums sold worldwide.[2] She has also launched a clothing line, Stuff by Hilary Duff, and an exclusive perfume with Elizabeth Arden. Duff and her mother were listed as producers for the movie Material Girls,[3] and she will soon produce her sister's debut album. Her upcoming films include the 2007 action thriller War, Inc., animated comedy Foodfight! and independent films Greta and Safety Glass.[5] Duff's latest studio album, Dignity, was released in April 2007 and has sold.

Josie will play Polly Hudson in The Final Season, scheduled for release in 2007.In 2005, she was recruited by EA Games to appear as a main character in the street-racing computer and video game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which was released on November 17, 2005. She plays the game's second lead Mia Townsend, who guides the lead character through the game.
