Hilary Duff ( Hilary Ann Duff ) was born on September 28, 1987 at Houston, Texas, USA. She is both an actress and a musician by profession. This 5'4" girl is popularly known as the Lizzie McGuire girl after the Disney Channel's Kids show "Lizzie McGuire". Her career started with her appearance in women's Western True Women in 1997, and in "Casper"in 1998. She played her best part in 1999's "The Soul Collector". As for her music career, it started with her debut album "Santa Claus Lane" which also became a soundtrack for the movie "The Santa Clause II", and ultimately for her Lizzie McGuire Movie too.After gaining fame for playing the title role in the television show Lizzie McGuire, Duff went on to have a film career; her most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004).
